Add a custom image to the (Ingenico) payment terminal

Terminals must be purchased from Ascend in order to function properly. Email our sales team at sales@ascendrms.com
Not all versions of the Ingenico iSC Touch 250 and Lane 7000 driver are compatible with Ascend.
Integrated debit and credit card payments require payment processing from Chase.

Prepare your custom image

To add the image to your payment terminals it needs to be sized to exactly 480x272 pixels for an iSC Touch 250 or 800x480 pixels for a Lane 7000, JPEG file format, and use the RGB color profile.

Visit the Ascend Retailer Portal on ShareFile by navigating to https://ascendrms.sharefile.com from your preferred browser and login.
Go to Ascend Retailer Portal > US Downloads > Templates.
Select the desired default image blank depending on your terminal model.
Customize the template and proceed to the next step to add them to your payment terminal.

Note: Not a designer? Check out our pre-made payment terminal image packs. We upload new images throughout the year and have them formatted for both the iSC Touch 250 and Lane7000 payment terminals. Find them on the Ascend Retailer Portal by navigating to Ascend Retailer Portal > US Downloads > Other Files > Ascend Payment Terminal Image Packs.

Add the image to your Ingenico

Go to Ascend and click Options > Payment Processing > Pinpad Setup
Check the Enable Device Ads box on this screen.
Then click the Open Image Folder button.
The Ads folder opens.

The Ads folder is where your custom images will live. You can upload up to 30 images that will rotate based on the file name.
Ignore the Default folder in Ads. The Default folder is just for holding the default image that comes with the Ingenico. The Ingenico terminal will not recognize any new items placed in that folder.
Note: Images must be sized 480 x 272 pixels for the iSC Touch 250 or 800 x 480 pixels for the Lane 7000, or the equivalent ratio of smaller dimensions. They should also be saved in .jpg format and use the RGB color mode/profile.
Drag and drop (or copy and paste) your custom images directly into this folder.
If you’d like have your images display in a particular order, you can modify their filename to suit your needs. The Ingenico organizes the images in alphanumeric order. So an image starting with a number would come before an image starting with a letter.
Go back to the Pinpad Setup window in Ascend.
Click Send Images to Device to load your files onto the terminal.
