Import the file with Import Only New unchecked in Options. Then use the Promotion Wizard to apply the Sale Prices.
Use the Promotion Wizard
- Promotions in Ascend make it easy for you to quickly discount specific products or categories. Create a sales promotion walks you through using the Promotion Wizard.
- You will need to download 2 new promotions using the Promotion Wizard
- Sale prices will be set to go live to consumers on 7/1/23
- Update the promotion by going to Database Explorer > Wizard > Select the appropriate promotion > Select Download
- Download the appropriate promotion.

Use the Coupon Wizard
- Download coupons using the Coupon Wizard walks you through downloading and adding coupons to your system.

At the time of sale
Once you’ve added all items to a transaction and a customer is ready to pay:
1. Select the Coupon payment type.
2. Scan the coupon. If you cannot scan the coupon from a mobile device, you can select it by Code or Description. 
3. Select Save.
The coupon is applied to the sale.
