- From the Payment toolbar, click the Check button.
- The Amount field automatically populates with the amount due on the transaction. If the amount the customer gave you is different, enter that amount instead.
- In the Check Number field, enter the number from the customer’s check.
- Click the Save button.
- If the customer overpaid on the transaction, the Change Due dialog box displays. Click OK to return cash to the customer.
